Option 1 deals with simply trying to "fix" the registry values, Option 2 deals with deleting every possible registry value, so that you can get the proper ones after another reinstall. ![]() There are two known ways now to fix the invalid CD key problem, and the reason why just merely uninstalling the game does not fix it is that it will still leave behind traces of the game in your Registry, and those few traces that it does leave behind are the ones that are corrupted and need fixing.
